I had the absolute worst experience with the pick up service. Time slot was 4-5. Got there at 430. Had to go in twice to find out the hold up. No one had a clue. Nothing but kids that don’t know anything. Worthless!! Had to call mamager. Mike shows up and is worthless! Enrique shows up and is even more worthless. Walmart you need better people!! Absolutely ridiculous. Very rude and no one knew anything and I think their more worried about their finger nail polish. And all they could say was sorry. Please!? Save it for your boyfriend

This is the best Walmart I have ever visited.

It is a smaller store, and doesn't carry some items found in the bigger/busier locations. However, the customer service is exceptional (something I haven't experienced in bigger stores). All interactions with the employees has been friendly, and they are always happy to help.

Bonus: most registers are open, and I'm not forced into sel-checkout lines. This is great because it provides ample employment opportunities for the community, and I'm not forced to be an employee by proxy.

Two days ago I left a five star review for the Pharmacy at the Rockdale Walmart. Those ladies are great. I have quite a few medical issues & have Not been able to work the past few years very much or very often. I also have seven children age ranging from my oldest at 11 and my youngest is two weeks old. At times, I have to take something or a few things back and have them remove the items from the computer. The time before this that I went there, I had to have a few things removed and then one of the employees was great and he paid the $13 that I was asking him to remove from my account that man was a literal saint, but the other woman that is in charge of the swipe itself lines and was working with him at the time when I went today she was telling the other employees this guy is pretty broke. He’s going to take at least a few things like he Did the last time which I became aware of because she made some comment while I was bagging my own groceries to one of the other ladies about “oh man, I wish I wasn’t so broke And could buy all of my groceries.”
It seemed like an odd thing to say the way that she said it, but it didn’t raise any flags for me. Again, I had to pay for a medical test that processed slowly and pulled out of my account. So again, I asked if she would remove a small bottle of olive oil Because that was going to put me just beyond my new budget. This time before she came she rolled eyes very exaggerated, to express her annoyance and then very blatantly looked at the three other ladies that had been hovering at Self check out, and face went from exaggerated annoyance ( I guess that part was just for me), to middle school bully type of belittling giggle as the rest of the ladies directly looked at me and mimicked the same type of look and giggle. Then, loud enough for me and pretty much all at the second row of the swipe it yourself checkout lanes, she said “See, I told you he couldn’t afford his groceries.”
That’s when I realized what was happening that whole time and why there was such a gross feeling by the way they were smirking and looking at each other the entire time. It wasn’t because such a weird feeling and discomfort because they were trying to offer a bit too much “extra-friendly” customer service; rather, it was so uncomfortable because they were making fun of me.
The uncomfortable feeling I mention came from as soon as I walked up to check out two ladies came to the “scan and bag it yourself” checkout line, and as I was scanning items and putting them into my bags one of the ladies seemed to be very concerned with what items I scanned and put in my bags. She seemed like she was making literal notes on her tablet. When they came up at the same time another lady walked to the door not relieving the girl that was checking receipts but as they were all so focused on my cart specifically as if I were going to steal something which was awkward enough and they were just standing in front of the door as I finished checking out, which I reasoned to myself Walmart has a lot of shoplifters everyday and they are just doing their job.
The picture made full circle after the “See, I told you he couldn’t afford all his groceries.”
It was fairly humiliating and gross, in my opinion, for someone to belittle another person with and treat them with such disrespect, whether they can or can’t afford all of their groceries.
You don’t know the full story of anyone’s life. I’m very grateful that I did not have any of my children with me this time; I decided that it was getting too late and they shouldn’t go because tomorrow is our first day of homeschool. I’m upset at the way that I was treated, I’m no thief even though money has come pretty short as of recent. To be treated like I was going to steal something is still a better feeling than being openly shamed because I’m in the middle of one of the hardest times of my life trying to scratch together my $100 worth of groceries and make it stretch for our family of 9, while being unable to work a full time job because of my health that seems to be spiraling downward

We found this to be a very well stocked Walmart. The grounds in the parking lot were safe and extremely clean and well landscaped. Additionally we noticed that this location provided garbage cans for their customers and convenient access to the Murphy's gas station with good prices.
