I have been with TSO for years and I was recently told everything would be migrating to 123 Reg, which I thought was fine. However, their support team is completely unresponsive in the meantime and we haven't been moved over to 123 yet so I can't get support from them. Live chat does not work, phone lines have been disconnected, and no one is responding on the ticket system so they've essentially just dropped all support.

Absolutely disgusting service. This is not how you treat loyal customers. We’ve been with TSO Host for years. Told we were being migrated as they were being taken over by 123Reg and wouldn’t have to do anything. Then told they couldn’t migrate our website. Tried getting in touch with support and getting a web developer to migrate it for us as our small business was being effected as we’d not had a functioning website for 3 weeks and now they are ignoring all requests. There’s no phone number to ring. I’ve paid for hosting and a domain name until January and now can’t access anything. Reading the other reviews I’m seriously worried. They won’t even give us our code to transfer our domain name. Not sure now who to escalate this to or how to get it resolved.

Got taken over by 123reg, atrocious now, blocked my email forwarders and now want to charge £35 for a free service.

I have transferred over to 20i hosting. Will be closing my 123reg account that was forced on me. Trash company.

Such a shame the direction this company has gone. Used to be a great host but now offer practically no support despite advertising that they do. No phone number to call, just a live chat that rarely works and “tickets” that they’ll reply to weeks later.
Do not use.

I honestly can't believe how much they've just messed everything up for me. I also tried to get everything canceled as I don't want to with 123reg I even was lucky to speak to someone and I asked for everything to be closed with immediate effect. They said yes no problem. then today... charged.

so.. been with them for over 15 years and now still messing with me and making things hard. I really hope this business and their owners read one of these and see how disappointed me are

Used to be great but have been getting worse and worse over the past few years. I am a web designer and have now moved my last client away from TSO. The most basic of features are made difficult or impossible. Customer service is terrible!

Used them for many many years when they were first class, with stirling tech support.

Over the last 2 years or so, as others have reported, the company and service has gone downhill - rapidly descending into an abysmal service.

Inconvenient server migrations, discontinued support for domain names and very very slow responses to issues or config changes they have made without proper notification.

So they wanted to know how they could have made me stay, here's how;

"If username, passwords weren't randomly changed, if the server name and FTP details weren't changed, if the SSL certificate hadn't been removed making it a suspicious site in browsers, if my subdomain configurations hadn't been busted, if a max file limit hadn't been imposed, if support wasn't as slow, if price hadn't increased for all these benefits..."

The company will cease trading soon I think and the business transferred to 123 reg with the underlying hosting provided by GoDaddy.

My web hosting will not follow (since Tsohost totally broke the configuration, changed my usernames and passwords and nothing worth migrating). But happy to have 123reg look after my domain names since I've used them before.

After hosting all of our company sites with TSO for over a decade, We were shocked that they would terminate our services with only a couple of weeks notice. The effort and money this cost our companies trying to develop new sites, backup and migrate many, many email accounts across numerous domains, and all under such pressing deadlines was quite frankly disgusting and very much avoidable had they cared in the slightest about their customer base. No surprise they are ceasing trading.
