By far the worst rural provider I have used. The service deteriorated to the point where I had to add a second service to the house to be guarantee that I had internet access.

I understand there are challenges and limitations with delivery of service to rural areas so be sure that when purchasing a system make sure you have some recourse to change providers in the event the service fails to meet your requirements.

I could go on about reliability and usage limits however all companies have them. You can easily find better, more reliable service with higher data usage limits if you check around. And i suggest you do!

I have been a loyal customer for years with this company as they were, at the time, the only rural internet provider. The service started out great, but as the years went on it got worse and worse.

I have called a few times over the last couple months, and without hesitation they would come out and "adjust" something and deem my internet working again. Well, I would get home and the signal would be poor, just like it was before I left.

This last time, they had come out to site and installed a large ugly towere on my roof top to get the signal above the tree line. Once again, they claim the signal is awesome and strong from their end and its weak and terrible on my end.

Today, I called and spoke with a gentleman named Tom. He was cordial and straight forward about "running some tests" when I got home tonight to see what was going on.

After some thought on my end and some research on speeds and monthly usage, I decided that I am tired of this going on and on and proceeded to look at a new provider and cancel this terrible service. Called the office again and managed to get Tom back on the phone, began to tell him I was going to and wanted to cancel the service provided. Well, instantly his attitude changed. He was VERY rude and short with me, dismissive and argumentative.

I highly suggest researching and finding a better provider than Tera-Byte

Very poor internet service. It crashes several times a day. We have replace our router several items and it does not change. They advertise high speed but tell you 500kbs is within their acceptable range. We are often as slow as 380kbs and rarely, but never faster than, 1500kbs. During peak times it is worse thank dial up. We have had their service people out to fix this several times over the years and they have never made any improvements. They claim to have a faster tower that has a waiting list to get on but no plans to add more. We tried the "faster tower" it was worse so we changed back. FYI I believe they also go by the name Airsurfer.

Absolutely atrocious. Stuck with them as they are the only provider in the area, but if there was another choice I'd be gone. advertised speeds of 20Mb/s, absolute highest observed is 250KB/s, almost always sub 70KB/s. You will have to wait for your 144p you tube video's to load, don't even attempt Netflix. Packet loss is normal and outages are an everyday thing . Knowing that i'm paying stupid money for internet that is slower than a turtle in a freezer and not remotely reliable from constant outages and packet loss just makes me sick, While the support is there 24/7 they have never been helpful, mostly just condescend and said "it's cloudy" or found someway to blame you. Don't give them your money.

The speed is super slow. I tried to upgrade to Windows 10. After 60 hours It was 17% complete. Then,it shut down. Netflix is not an option anymore. We used to be able to watch it, at times, up until last fall. Now, downloading pictures is almost too painful. To top it off, the monthly limit is only 20 Gb. Since last fall, we are always over on our usage, almost double. My husband is gone 3 weeks of the month. I work 12 hour days. We don't have time and the speed is too slow, to be over our limit. Honking of checking into dial up. It's has to be faster and cheaper than this

I've been using these guys for 20 years. You will not find better customer service. If you're having trouble just use the chat function and they'll sort you out right away. These reviews do not reflect this company at all.

I have hosted with this company for 7 years, and after requesting the cancellation of my account they failed to follow up on the close request and then billed me for another full year. They refuse to refund my money. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER ... they will charge you and not refund your money if they make a mistake... heck they wont even acknowledge that they made a mistake.
