As far as I can tell, non-existent customer service.

I found a phishing site being hosted on one of Multacom's IP ranges so I first tried their live chat to let them know about it (which, by the way, they apparently advertise on their site as being available 24x7).

Someone immediately responded to me which I thought was nice. So I replied with the details of my request. Waited about 20 minutes and they never sent a reply.

So then I tried the old fashioned way which was emailing their abuse email address - the one registered with ARIN. No reply even after a week... Which I'm pretty sure is actually illegal by the way, since they have a responsibility as a service provider to investigate their customers using their infrastructure for illegal things. And, of course, probably breaching their responsibilities they have to ARIN.

I then tried their online chat again and got the exact same thing. And I realised at that point I was simply talking to an auto-reply bot with a human name that is designed to make it look like a real person.

It's not that hard to reply to things guys. Disappointing. As a cloud solutions architect and hosting reseller, I would not recommend them based on this experience.

Given that they're probably going to reply to this review with some suggestion that this was a 'once-off' or doesn't describe the normal quality of their customer service or something, I should remind anyone reading that there's a track record of this exact issue (them not replying to the abuse email) going back years through their Google reviews as well as numerous other review websites. Have a look if you don't believe me. So much so that I would even use the word "negligence" here. It's obvious they're aware of their legal obligations they are neglecting.
