HOSTAFRICA used to provide the best service and value for money but theyve since cheaped out and have started using "DirectAdmin" rather than cPanel.

This change in itself warrants this one star review as its a giant step backwards in the service they provide

EDIT: HOSTAFRICA still offer cpanel packages at an inflated rate and will charge you additional fees to move to a package with cpanel. They need to fix their shady and unclear information included on their website.

Gosh. Your support sucks. Generic answers to close the ticket. Focus your support to solving the issue (and not the ticket). Huge difference between the two. Then you will keep customers.

To try and set up my domain and WordPress platform with your company is an absolute joke.. I was eventually told that the AI site assistant is actually just a plug in called “extendify” that anyone could install and use by your own tech staff is ridiculous.! But still doesn’t explain why it wasn’t set up properly when I registered and paid for the service over a week later I still can’t build my site.. pathetic service.!
