Amazing Service at H-E-B!

I recently visited H-E-B while in the area to gather ingredients for posole, a traditional Mexican stew, and I had such a wonderful experience.

The team in the produce section was especially helpful. A knowledgeable man with a buzz cut went above and beyond to assist me in finding the right chilies. Not only did he guide me to the perfect ones, but he even helped me pick out a pot for making the posole!

In the meat section, another employee with big eyes and brown hair provided equally excellent service. He was so lovely and helped me select the perfect cut of pork for my dish.

Both of these employees made my visit truly memorable with their friendly attitudes and expert advice. Thank you, H-E-B, for having such fantastic staff❤️

HEB is the best grocery store. This where my family does all of it's grocery shopping because of the prices, customer service, and selection. Any issues that we have had have always been taken care of above and beyond our expectations.

This review is *specifically* for the vanilla buttercream filled donuts at the Oak Hill location. I have purchased 3 of these over the past 6 months and one was fantastic but the other 2 were very poor - almost no filling even though they looked promising from the outside. I know they can make a good donut, but just aren't doing it consistently. For reference, I have gotten 3 out of 3 perfect donuts from the Escarpment Village location.

This review is for the HEB Blooms floral department at the Oak Hill location.
Natalie and her team are excellent! We purchased our flowers through them for our wedding ceremony and reception, and they turned out beautiful! We had fresh, succulent flowers delivered early to our ceremony site, and the floral delivery staff were efficient and friendly in setting the chapel up. Thank you to Natalie and her amazing team! We HIGHLY recommend Oak Hill Blooms for your event florals!

Wide open space not crowded and even if so so there is so much variety and such an array of folks that this makes for an interesting, yet fun outing , hey and a few groceries to boot

Look, I miss my tiny old Oak Hill H‑E‑B, but I have to say that this location is an amazing resource for far SW Austin beer and cider drinkers. Christina, in the Beer & Wine department, keeps this place stocked with all sorts of rare treasures:

Martin House Brewing limited releases that are normally only at Central Market? They’re here. An astonishing array of craft sours? Also here. Anything I’d normally have to drive all the way into Central Austin for, Christina makes sure we can find here.

The new Nutty Brown location pales in comparison. I stopped in expecting everything the Oak Hill location had and more, but they had barely anything. Any time I come in Christina always has three or four different new products to show me, and I don’t think I’ve had a bad recommendation yet! Please have her stock Nutty Brown!

This was my first experience at a HEB! Let me begin with WOW! This place gives the word one stop shop a new meaning. We bought so much stuff. This place has amazing produce and a massive selection of wine. I got a great lesson in wine and champagne choices. The employees are so helpful and the store is really clean. I still can’t get over the selection here. You do need to bring your own bags or you will be charged a tiny fee for a bag.

Nice store, difficult to get in and out of because of all the construction, but hopefully we'll clear up once that's done. Employees seem a little unfriendly, but may be stressed out.
