We had a pleasant dinner on a Saturday early evening and managed to avoid the $5 cover charge for live music by arriving after 7 pm. We came for the caipirinha and to try the menu. I didn't find the prices to be high—perhaps there was some confusion because there were two price points: one for two people and another for four. I thought the serving sizes were more than adequate. The atmosphere was modern and clean, though not particularly trendy. Isa, our server, was efficient, pleasant, and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious: brie empanada and crab cakes as appetizers, Mocequa Baina for dinner, and flan for dessert. The caipirinha was quite good. We'll definitely be back.

I love this place. Great experience every time I go! The food is always delicious and fresh and comes out right on time. And the customer service is amazing. Sergio and Filipe are 2 of the best servers. Very friendly and informative, I always ask to be seated in their section when I go!! Would recommend the food, live music and service to everyone!!

“Brazilian Pub” (boteco) in Florida: a traditional boteco menu and generous combo portions for 2 or 4, fast service with a sincere smile and ice-cold beer, just like in Brazil. Expect every one of their staff and practically all customers to be Brazilian. As authentic a Brazilian place as you can get without flying to Rio. From Friday to Sunday it gets crowded and fun. Thumbs up!

Boteco do Manolo serves the most authentic and delicious Brazilian food I’ve had in the region. I’ve never had any issues with either the quality of the food (which is incredibly tasty!) or the service. The team is absolutely wonderful, and their service is top-notch, which is rare these days. Dining here brings the taste of Brazil back to me. The food is a bit on the pricier side, but it’s worth every penny. The portions are huge, perfect for sharing, and the quality is outstanding. Everything is perfectly seasoned. The beer is ice-cold (the beer mug comes so frosty it’s almost white!), which is also very rare around here. I want to congratulate the entire team, from the kitchen staff to the servers, because everything is flawless from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Boteco do Manolo in Deerfield Beach on a Sunday early afternoon, and my experience was a mix of highs and lows. As I walked in, I noticed a live music group setting up, which added a lively ambiance to the place. Initially, there were only a few people at the restaurant, but it gradually filled up as more patrons arrived.

The live music started playing shortly after we were seated. While the idea of live music is a nice touch, the volume was quite loud, even on the opposite side of the restaurant. This made it difficult to have a conversation at our table, which was a bit frustrating. I believe the music volume should be adjusted to create a more comfortable dining atmosphere, especially during dinner time.

On a positive note, the service was excellent. Despite the growing crowd, the staff was attentive, and our food was served promptly. Dani, our server, provided outstanding customer service, and the manager, Felipe, was very professional and ensured we were well taken care of. Their efforts were truly appreciated.

As for the food, I ordered the Picanha a moda de casa, medium rare. While the presentation was appealing, the execution could have been better. The fat on the Picanha was not rendered enough, and the arroz maluco was overly oily. Although I was quite hungry and ate everything, I felt the quality did not match the prices. The food is quite expensive for what is offered, and I expected a higher standard considering the cost.

We visited Boteco do Manolo the day after my mother's birthday party to celebrate with family members who were flying out on Sunday. While the atmosphere had a certain charm, it felt more like a status symbol rather than a place to enjoy authentic Brazilian cuisine. Having dined at numerous Brazilian restaurants, I found this experience lacking in terms of food quality and overall value.

In summary, Boteco do Manolo offers a lively atmosphere with live music, which can be a double-edged sword due to its volume. The service is excellent, thanks to the dedicated staff, but the food quality does not justify the high prices. While I may consider returning if invited by a group, it is not my first choice for Brazilian dining. For those looking to experience Brazilian 'buteco' culture, there are better options available. My rating stands at 3 out of 5 stars.
